I have had Fibromyalgia for 15 years, Raynaud's for 14 and chronic fatigue for 18 months. I want to know if anyone else out there has been struggling with the problem with diagnosing Lupus. I was told last year that my ANA was positive for Lupus, then four months later, after being on Methatrexate, that it was negative. AFter having Fibro for so long, and Raynaud's for so long, I just accepted that Chronic Fatigue was the answer. I didn't even question the fact that I kept running a low-grade fever. Not until blood started showing up in my urine, and antibiotics didn't take care of the problem. I am completely confused and don't know which way to turn. I've had several doctors consulting on my diagnosis and as yet none of them have given me a satisfactory answer. Please, if you have any info, or input, please let me know.

  • IME as a natural health pro, many of your diagnoses and symptoms may indicate Lyme disease. Traditional docs know very little about it, and typical tests they may order are very inaccurate. I suggest doing a cruise and some searching on www.lymenet.org

  • ANA is positive with many diseases, and it can also normalize itself when treated with steroids. My best friend has Lupus and her ANA is never positive anymore, since the Lupus is under control.

  • My sister was diagnosed with fibro many years ago. As far as I know the disease does not cause you to bleed and yet my sister has blood in her urine every time an analysis is done. They said she does not have lupus. Lupus is not always easy to diagnose especially when doctors reach up and grab the word fibromyalsia rather than searching for the real problem. She has suffered more than she needed too. She has not found relief from any medications but has gained strength and stamina from a product that is not very well known about yet. It is called Monavie it is a combination of 19 different fruits. $ 48.oo dollars for a 32 oz bottle. 1 oz or 2 morning and again at night. Search on line for a distributer. She started drinking it around 10 months ago. It gives a body all the nutrients that we no longer can get from our food. Soon after drinking the drink people start feeling better. some within days some in a couple of weeks.
