I have recently self diagnosed a five year condition, fibrofolliculoma. It causes ulceration on the surface of the skin and through probing have discovered an abundance of mostly fine hairs which can be plucked from the nodule, hair growth is also apparent in the surrounding skin itself. I wondered if there is a link with too much testosterone or some other stimulant. I have also noticed an increase in hair growth on my face, my age or 49 may be relevant. Is there any hope for dealing with multiple ulcers?
