Feeling old

I have pain everywhere. I am sure that it is because I am overweight. Everytime I listen to music or dance I get intense migraines and have to sit down or I will faint. My middle back has been hurting me for the past month and Motrin will not even take away the pain. Although I have sexual urges, I am so worn out, I do not have the energy to put into it. my feet are swollen and I have to wear poise pads every day because I have leakage. once in a while (usually the week before my period) I get an infection that smells and itches like crazy. Need I say more. All the above cause me such depression and it is frustrating because I have no insurance yet and I cannot afford to go to the doctor for my pains so I pop motrin like candy and even have used monistat as a form of taking away the itch. :(

  • I feel the same way as you do!!! I'm only 22, overweight, tired, pain all over, can't sleep at night without pills. If you haven't had a chance to look up fibromyalga, you should check it out. I have been told that most drs don't want to diagnose it, but I could be wrong. You really can't do much more then what you are already doing, though. Also, I have thyroid problems and the drs told me that if your thyroids out of wack, it will make you have those same symptoms. You might want to take a look at that also. If you go to the dr have them take a thyriod blood test, sometimes they don't want to, I found it very helpful reading up on it before I went and got mine done. I had all this pain sice I was about 9 or 10. They just got me diagnosed in September.I happen to take tylenol pm for night time and advil or excedrin during the day. I hope you get a chance to get to the dr so you can get to feeling better!!! Good luck.

  • They have taken an x-ray to find out if it is a thyroid problem and the blood test comes out okay. Now I need to take an ultrasound which would better determine if I have a problem with my thyroid. Thank you for your respond.
