I'm not really sure why but I have frequent fainting problems, the fainting episodes come at very unpredictable random moments. I have gone to the docter to try and get the problem resolved but not much is being done. My symptoms usualy include:

Dizziness
Ringing Ears
Loss Of Vision
Nausea
Shivering
Body Tingles

I also get frequent nose bleeds, which im not sure is related. I have been having these problems for about 4 years now, and day to day its getting worse. Hopefully someone might have some imput on what could be wrong with me, and I can try and find something to stop this problem. Thanks

Katy

  • HiSorry to here you get this problem,I also get this but just before you get the fainting do you get the tingles start on the top of your head and then after your body shakes heartbeat increases and pins and needles in your left arm, hands leg and foot.I get all that plus i get dizzy. pains in head, eyes only thing I don't get is feeling sick I had a sinus problem in December from the 26th then followed by this on the 3rd of jan. The doc really don't know what it is but is treating me for Labryathitis If it is Labryathitis it can last from a few days to months.Hope we can help each other to find out what this is. I get some more blood tests back tomorrow hope they show somethingthink it would help just to know.take carenikki

  • Please look into vitamin/mineral deficiencies - there are quite a few that can cause your symptoms, including B vitamins, folic acid, vit e, thiamin and others. Manganese deficiency can cause glucose intolerance, dizziness, hearing loss and ringing in ears, for example. The very best liquid nutritional supplement I have found is called INTRAMAX. visit www.druckerlabs.com for more info. This stuff is fantastic, but expensive. A cheaper choice is EmergenC, which is readily available and gives you great energy. It is hard to test for mineral deficiencies, and the best approach is try a supplement for awhile and see if you feel different. You may have to try a few before you see changes. I believe it is worth doing, and keep getting other tests done to rule other things out. Best wishes.DOM

ThanksKatyHi Katy,Not sure if my response is too late?...but I too suffer from all of the above. ..I actually had to "double take" your comments to make sure that I didn't write them!!! (I even suffer from random nose bleeds!)I have been to heaps of different docs...and just recently have found a doctor who has diagnosed me with epilespy. I was told by so many practitioners that there was nothing they could do, and that I would grow out of the symtoms...(10 years on, I am now 26)I am starting my medication this week.....Not sure If I am way off here...but definetly worth seeing a neurologist??I was undiagnosed for over 10 years - and I thought I was just fainting the whole time, and turns out I was having minor seizures...Take care,& Good luck
