My boyfriend's mother just died suddenly from an enlarged heart. The medical condition was never detected on her medical record but she had previously visited the hospital for unrelated conditions. My guess is that excessive drinking caused the enlarged heart but why hadn't the doctors picked up on it and treated it? Could this have been prevented with simple detection and medicine? They are looking to take legal action, do they have a case?Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
