Hi every1,
I'm 20 yrs old girl. I've started bleaching my facial hair since i was 15. I left the bleaching cream more than the supposed time at the age of 16 and it darkened random parts over my face and they were so noticible but luckily i went to a pharmacy and the pharmacist ha put on my face cream that made the dark areas go away completely within 3 hours. I dont know the name of the cream and the pharmacy is not working anymore but i remember the pharmacist had said that if i wouldnt have come at the instant time after those chemical burns the would have taken many months to go away and he told me i did the right thing by coming instantly.
Last year i used another bleaching cream but my face was so sensitve to it andit really itched but i didnt remove it over my face as the supposed time wasnt over yet. i removed it to find the side parts of my face (beside my ears) are dakand on my mostache part too. i went to another pharmacy and they did use a cream but not the same as the first one. it did remove them slightly but not completely. Those areas on my face are still little dark, not really noticible unless i say. i use foundation to hide them. over the past year i tried many creams told to me by drs and nothing worked for my skin. I dont know what should i use. if any1 has an experience with this issue i would like to hear it. I don't want to keep hiding them with foundation all my life :S :S

  • First of all , i m sorry to hear about ur problem ma'am. my story is very similar to yours, i also started using bleaching cream around the age of 15 years. with time it mildly burned the upper layer of my skin, naturally my skin is fair but using bleaching for long time my facial skin got dark and discolored,i went to skin specialist doctor, he gave me medicine but all in vain :(. it totally changed my life.i don't go out much, i avoid attending public functions, i spend most of time by myself. bottom line, i m depressed.i have searched a lot about getting rid of this problem and ,right or wrong ,but i have reached to conclusion that only chemical peel can cure this problem by removing damaged upper layer of skin. so, i will be using a safe chemical peel very soon. lets c how it turns out.

  • Stop using the bleaching creams if they're irritating your skin. I used a bleaching lotion for my face, and it broke out my face terribly. My body is basically ghost white and my face is darker, so I used it to make my face light as the rest of me. Use natural lightening products like milk, or make homemade face packs.
