I had two eyelid surgeries and one brow lift. The side and top of my scalp are infected but finally healing after 5 weeks, with the help of bactrim, an antibiotic. The surgeon may want to do a revision, because the infection widened the scar too much. It may take six more weeks to heal, before the revision is considered. I am afraid of more surgery. I am concerned because we don't know the cause of the infection. Could unknown diseases, such as insulin resistance or an autoimmune disease cause the infection? I have not been diagnosed with and other disease. Please respond. Thankyou:confused:Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
