This is for my daughter, who is getting married in four weeks. In the last couple of months, she has been diagnosed with blepharitis. She is seeing an eye doctor and using a special wash to wash eyelids and applying a topical solution and taking eye drops. Her eyes have gotten slightly better, the eyelids are not red and itchy. But she still wakes up with a crusty eye in the morning and loses a few eyelashes a week. In the last few days she has developed a stye in one eye. She has stopped wearing contacts and using eye makeup, but this did not significantly improve her conditions. Here's the question. Meanwhile, under care of her gynecologist, she started, for the first time in her life at age 30, taking birth control pills. Could this be causing dry eye and exacerbating her eye problems?Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
