Epilepsy? Lupus? or Multiple Sclerosis?

My son was diagnosed with Epilepsy at the age of nine two years ago. However, I cannot believe epilepsy is the issue. I feel he has been misdiagnosed. I have MS and so does my mother. There is also a family memeber diagnosed with Lupus too. There is not any history for seizures in my son's family and out of the blue he started having them. He is seeing a doctor at Texas Children's Hosptial, but they won't even test him for anything else. He is on his 11th med and nothing works.
