My 18 month old niece has had two episodes where her lips, feet and hands go blue. She has no obvious signs of respiratory difficulties. As far as her behavior she goes into a blank stare and is accompied by a short episode of shivering. The cyanosis last for about 5 to 10 minutes but the daze last about a few minutes where the shivering last seconds. She is nonresponsive to the comotion around her. She has had two episodes two weeks apart. What is going on????
