I had an epidural for my 2nd daughter as I was having a C-section. All went well untill later in the day as I started feeling stiff. Next thing I knew I felt paralized and could not move from the neck down. They told me it was just a stiff neck but Ive had a stiff neck before and knew that was not it. After about 2 days of pain they said that my spinal fluid had leaked out and they needed to take blood from my arm and put it into my back. I also found out that it was an assistant that gave me the epidural NOT the actual doctor. It is almost 6 yrs later and I cannot sit or stand too long in the same spot. I have had trouble keeping a job as most jobs have you sitting or standing. I have been to a few doctors and they all tell me the same thing that it is because I am not exercising enough. I admit I am not an athlete but I walk alot and remember do have 2 daughters. I do not know what to do as sometimes it gets so sore its hard to function at all. I feel as though no one believes me. Is there something that can fix it. Do I need to go on disability as I cannot keep a job and if so how do I get a doctor to believe me?? PLEASE anyone with advice HELP me :)Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
