I have had 5 sinus surgeries on my left side and now know that I have a staph infection named enterococci. I was on IV vancomycin last year for 6 weeks. This did not clear up my sinus infection. I just recently tried to complete a series of vancomycin with a nebulizer. I did not complete this because my sinus infection became worse. I went back to my ENT and he does not know what else to try. Every time we try to get more aggressive at treating this, the sinus infection just gets worse. In between all of the surgeries and vancomycin treatments I have been irrigating with a saline solution. The nasel discharge is still green and has an awful oder. I also have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome. The arthritis in my hands have become worse as well. Are any of these related? I feel like something has sped up in zapping my energy and the brain fog is getting worse. I have always been an active and high energy person and can now hardly walk from one room to another. Does anyone have any ideas about what to try next?Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
