Eczema on my hands (figured it out!)

I had severe eczema on my hands and was miserable. I had a good friend, and my mother, who also had it. My friend is a paramedic and very dogged in finding the cause of things. He was sure it was an allergy of some sort and he finally figured it out. It is an allergy to Methylchloroisothiazolinone which is found in most shampoos and soaps. He quit using any products containing this, and so did I and we are both cured!! This chemical is an anti bacterial toxin used to preserve water based products from contamination.
