Dr excised a sebaceous cyst, 5 cm, forehead, layered closure, no infections on follow up exams. Surgery went fine, local used, went in but was deeper than he usually fools with but he had done them before so was no problem. By layered closure being on the forehead you can guess how deep it was....not deep just enough he had to do one underneath it being so large a cyst. I say code 11446 with possibly modifier 22 to show complex closure and thats it. Nurse also wants to code a repair to wound.
