My daughter was bitten by ants last week. She was over her aunt's house and was outside, and from what my husband tells me they were the red little ants, maybe fire ants??!!?. Since last week (I believe Tuesday last week) to today (Wednesday - 1 week has gone by), she still has what look to be like pimples/raised on her feet where she was bitten. Is this normal?? Do ant bites normally take this long to clear up?

Please help with any advise.... Oh, she mentioned today that she had a severe headache and stomach ache (she is 5 years old). Would this type of ant cause any of those reactions?

Thank you.
