I have seen several doctors, including my family doctor. It all started after the birth of my twins in 1997. I had spinal fluids leaking from my back, then had seizures for many years. In 2001 I had my gall bladder removed, Since I have had right side numbness in my hand and pain in my shoulder, numbness in my upper thigh, I have a lump on the back side of my head that has grown quite a bit in the past month or so, It has been there for years, it has now started worrying me more, there never use to be pain there now there is pain located where the lump is. It doesn't move around, it is hard in the center and soft around it. I have had lower back pain near the kidneys for a few months now, I have had shortness of breath and was put on an inhaler, I was diagnosed with pluritis or pleuracy about a year ago. The seizures have been gone now for the last 8 or more years. I have a red patch area on my neck in the front and my weight has been fluctuating a lot. I have foul smelling bowel movements and a greasy or mucus look to my bowel movements. I get my menstrual cycle maybe once a year if I am lucky. It has been irregular for the past 10 years and have been told I am going through menopause. Now I am 36 years old at the time that I was diagnosed with this I was 26. Now tell me what 26 year old goes through menopause? Lately I have been tired and weak, I had never missed work and now can't get motivated. I am short of breath and that lump on my head is getting worse.

I have been given these diagnosis to my symptoms, not one related.

I have been told for the numbness in my right side it is due to my clothing being to tight.
The shortness of breath is from lack of excercise.
The lump in my head is nothing to worry about, it may be just a fatty tissue.
My menstrual cycle not coming is early menopause.
The seizures I was having earlier on, caused by stress.
The red patch on my neck below my jaw line, may be caused from my make up or soap. (I rarely wear make up.)

I was medicated for years for the seizures, constantly switching my medicine because it wasn't working. Topamax and Dylantin, there were a few more that I had used. The Topamax was the last one and it caused me to get sicker. I finally found a Dr. That agreed to take me off from it gradually I did. I haven't had a seizure since.

Can anyone here help me at all?
I have seen now 9 Doctors.
Not one with an answer.

I can give try and give you a direction to try, but I don't have any concrete answers for you (nor should anyone who is giving advice over the internet). Some of your symptoms are very familiar to me, since I've gone through them myself, however I did find my answers on this forum. My symptoms included pain in every joint on my right side, acid reflux, lightheadedness, forgetfullness, shortness of breath, menstrual issues (mine was constant bleeding), and quite a few others. I managed to clear up most of these after following the advice on the "Could it be B12 deficiency" thread on this page. Don't be intimidated by the amount of pages, just come to the last page and post your story. Even if this doesn't help with everything you have going on, it may clear up some of them, making the actual problems much easier to identify. This happened with me, and I was finally diagnosed with ADD 2 months ago, which is clearing up the remaining "brain fog" issues I was having. Hope this helps!

  • Oh, and for what it's worth.....I'm 29, and crashed completely after having my first child a year ago. I thought I was going to be diagnosed with fibromyalgia, and have to go on disability. Breastfeeding was torture, my daughter lost weight since I didn't have any nutrients left to give her. Thank goodness for formula!

  • I agree with Eleez. Never underestimates Vitamins & Minerals. They can make your life ***l and worst part is that Nutritional deficiencies are not even diagnosed on time. Its takes a while to find out.Vitamin b12 which is needed by our body for Cells & DNA replications can have a so many unrelated effects and problems for your body which you can not even think off. check out this link to see what all Symptoms it can have.http://forums.wrongdiagnosis.com/showthread.php?p=190048#post190048Better go for B12 tests ( blood Serum, Urine MMA test) and check out if you have this deficiency. Once you know your problem, Its very easy to treat it or at least start your treatment in the correct direction. There are a lot of Experts on this forum who can guide you on B12 supplementation.cheers.Arya

  • Take a read of the description of Celiac disease. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Celiac_disease though B-12 deficiency can result from this disease it is just one of the many problems the disease causes. As for your lump get it biopsied. A growing lump is always a potential cancer even if it starts from a fat deposit.

Thank you for your advice, that is one thing that the Doctors didn't check me for.

  • From a book I recently read...In the case of ovulation, a researcher named Burr found voltage differencesbetween the corresponding right and left fingers of women, depending on whichpart of her cycle she was facing. For some 24-48 hours before the egg wasreleased, field measurements varied, and at the time the egg was released, therewas a very large spike in EMF. Burr also found that at least once during themenstrual cycle of most women, the cervix, which is usually positive to theankle, switches and becomes negative for 24-48 hours. Women who do not ovulate, are pregnant, or those who are menopausal do not experience these 'spikes'. Then look into...

I am going to start demanding rather than saying what is wrong. I think that if I demand that there is something wrong maybe that a Doctor might take me more seriously. As the bump that is on my head now has went from a quarter size to larger than a Golf ball over night. The pain is worse. I can barely brush my hair. I have talked to this same doctor several times, but he is my primary care doctor. I am thinking it is time for me to search for another. Thank you very much for you suggestions here.
