I have had cronic sever shoulder pain for almost a year. After months of PT and a manipulation under anesthsia, still no results. Dr now thinks we need to do something called "capsular release surgery"

Has anyone else had this - - what is involved, what is recovery period like, did it work?

I need relief but he also says if I wait it out, it will eventually heal on its own without intervention; however, not sure how much long I can tolerate this pain 24/7.
