Any advice on this one would be greatly appreciated. Apart from 3 episodes of chest pain, I have been perfectly healthy till 20 May. Since that day, I have been getting SEVERE chest pains. At first on the left side only, later the right side as well and sometime (this is the worst) a crushing pain in the middle of my chest... It seems like every few days, I get more symptoms (I have a LOT of pain every day)... Also get shoulder pain (first the one, later the other one as well)... Pain from my hamstring to my ancle... Arm Pain, Pins and needles in my left arm and sometimes left foot.... My left hand has been feeling dead the last 3 days... Getting VERY severe headaches, feeling nausia and feeling very weak.... Cardiovuscular desease has been ruled out (apart from insignificant Mitral Valve Prolapse)... Also seen an orthopedic surgeon who could not pick up anything... I have an apointment with a neurologist tomorrow... Could I be suffering from MS??? If not, what can I do to find a diagnoses... Thanks, any help will be appreciated. I am in INCREDIBLE pain.... THANKS!!!!!

  • MS is often confused with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. Has this already been ruled out as a possibility?

  • Thanks for your advice! Really appreciate it! I managed to see a very good internist yesterday. He picked up that I have Hiatal Hernia, causing the severe chest pains and also Marfan's syndrome. Marfan's syndrome is when the connective tissue in your body is weak. This cause dislocations (and explain the almost 20 shoulder dislocations I have had), but also problems inside the body, like in my case Hiatal Hernia and Mitral Valve prolapse. I might need an operation for the hiatal hernia, but I am now on treatment that is already starting to work! I am really thankful!! Sincerely, K
