could hyperuricemia cause pancreatitis?

i had recurrent attacked pancreatitis since 3 years ago. all investigation had been done by gastroenterologist to rule out the possibilities causes of acute pancreatitis, but the results inconclusive.what i noticed is i got persistent hyperuricemia, since the first attack.so the question play in my mind does hyperuricemia leads to the pancreatitis? if yes how the pathogenesis and what the suitable treatments for that besides allopurinol.thanx
