I am a 55 year old female who has had Multiple Scleroris for 30 years. I am ambulatory and active. Over the years I have had different conditions. In the past 10 years I have suffered with chronic constipation and diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis. Generally I am not bothered with this condition until the constipation begins with some bleeding as well. I take 4 Asacol a day and have for some time now. I have a friend that says the only thing wrong with my system is that I do not take enzymes. My constipation has lasted up to 6 weeks before.

First question is, could the MS have any direct link with the consitpation? And, do you feel that enzymes would enable me to evacuate?

Thanks for your help.
