My R/A stated when I was 38 , I then had breast cancer , atrial fibrillation , high blood pressure , bronchiecstasis , type 2 diabetes , now at 70 I have got cirrhosis and ascites .
I have never smoked and drink very rarely , I am not over weight and have a normal diet .
I have had 5 hip replacements , finger and toe operations , a year ago I fell and broke my elbow and had a elbow replacement .
I have been on Methotrexate for 25 years and leflumenide for about 2 years .
It seems that the cirrhosis and ascites are possibly connected with these two drugs reacting with the diabetes .
I wonder if any other person has heard of this connection .
