My 10 year old son has had chronic stomach pain for years now. It has gotten worse this year. He goes to the bathroom often. When he feels the need to go he is in agonizing pain wih cramping. Once he goes he feels somewhat better. Most of the time it is loose. This happens several times a day! It's hard to take trips and is getting embarrasing for him at school. We have had upper & lower GI testing with everything turning out normal. Could this be IBS or something else? Who should we go to? The pediatrician says it's stress. If it is then we STILL need help. He is in pain all the time. He also has headaches often. This could be from sinus problems, but didn't want to leave it out. He's only 10. Please lead us in the right direction or any direction for that matter.Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
