Hello,

I am from a small country in Europe, so in advance I apologize for my English , because it is not my native language and its kinda difficult to describe all the symptoms especially where medical terms are involved, but I will try my best. My pain story began when I was 17 years old (about 6 years ago), I perfectly remember that day. It was my ballroom practice ( I was dancing about 10years at that time) and I felt a strange fatigue, dizziness.
And then it all started…L In addition, I would like to mention that I had Lyme disease when I was a child, but my mother spotted this in time and we went to the doctor who prescribed me antibiotics course. I took the course as I was supposed to Also I didn’t feel any changes( no headaches, no temperature rising, vomiting….nothing) I remembered that and I thought maybe this can be the cause of my problems?( maybe this still is…I am not 100%sure) I had my lime disease test a couple years ago and the company that did it sad it was positive and I went to a infection hospital, showed the test and they sad that the test only shows that I have antibodies from lime disease and this will stay for the rest of my life, but to completely be sure they made an offer to do an additional test. So they stabbed a syringe with a long needle into my lower back between two vertebras and pulled some liquid from that spot. After three days lying in bed the doctors sad that everything is ok.
So not to expand my story too much I would like to submit the information about me:

My condition at the moment:
weakness, strong occipital pain(tension headache) and fatigue from when I wake up till I go down, memory loss (~80%), lack of concentration, hand, palm, finger “melting” when I am a sleep, muscle twitching(especially in my crural 24h a day) , right shoulder and right shoulder blade pain( this is not constant but the pain especially comes when I have to study, it is a terrible pain it feels that somebody is stabbing you in the shoulder blade with a knife and the shoulder just hurts it doesn’t feel like it is being stabbed, and the pain is kinda “traveling” sometimes it effects the shoulder blade, sometimes only the shoulder, and sometimes both.

I have done my new MRI and uploaded it. Please if you can look at it and comment it, i would be sincerely grateful for your helpfile:///C:/DOCUME%7E1/Dalius/LOCALS%7E1/Temp/msohtml1/01/clip_image001.gif. Download link:

The past MRI summary(2005):

MR(C1-C7):
C2-C3, C3-C4 small degenerative changes, at the bottom surface of C3 5-6mm Schmorl knot, C5-C6 “disk is shroud”( I don’t know how to Wright correctly in English) , C4-C5, C6-C7 disks are less shroud. C5-C6 disk is more shroud by the left edge, narrows the intervertebral opening. C3-C7 are rotated counter clockwise.

The new MRI summary (2010):

Analyzed by : T1W, PD
Performed axial, coronary cuts.

Straightened physiological cervical spine part of lordosis
vertebral rotation of cervical spine
C2-3-4-5 disks between vertebrae are abstemiously lower, circulars are shroud, covering plates are not even,At the bottom surface of C3 small Schmorl knot, C5-6-7 vertebrae disks marginally lower, circulars are shroud. C5-C6 disk is more shroud by the left edge posterolaterally, narrows the intervertebral opening marginally.

Comparing with the old MRI view, changes within vertebrae disks remain without major dynamics, rotation is expressed a little less.

Also the doctor made some x-rays of my spine, because he suspected scoliosis. Also waiting for your comments guysfile:///C:/DOCUME%7E1/Dalius/LOCALS%7E1/Temp/msohtml1/01/clip_image001.gif. Neck:

Medical ways I tried to heal:
Chiropractors, acupuncture, massage, neck stretching device, osteopathy, physiotherapy.

Yesterday, I went to a private physiotherapist. Explained the situation. She was astonished of the problems that I had, furthermore as fortunate as i can be the next day she goes for a holiday and won’t be back for 2,5 weeks. She promised that she will do an individual plan of exercises for me and will work with a new technology in Lithuania “kinesio taping”. Hope it will work… So she gave me some basic exercises for my neck. I uploaded a video of me doing the exercisesJ. I asked if she could film it, just for a reason that I could memorize them, so didn’t do them appropriately, but hope you can catch the idea of what I am doingJ

  • I had cervical discectomy and fusions at levels C4-5 and C6-7. Prior to surgery I experienced very similar symptoms. I'm not exactly sure on the reading of your MRI if it says that your spinal cord is being pressed or not...but if so avoid any spinal manipulation until that is remidied. Kinesio taping will help loosen the fascia. When our spines are out of alignment it pulls on the fascia/muscles, which could be causing your headaches. I had my physical therapist teach me proper taping techniques and I ordered kinesio tape to use at home.

I don't have herniated disk problems. How is your life after the surgery? What do you mean avoiding spinal manipulation? No physical therapist or whatever? Does remidied mean "fixed" ?(don't find in my dictionary ) i have read a lot of info and at the moment i'm thinking to try a new physical therapy tecnology in my country call "SET" ( sling exercise therapy) witch is performed with Terapimaster equipment. As i read comments of people who tried SET, most of them achieved miraculous results. But all the comments where about the lower back where harniated discs made the problems. Not sure if that will give some results to my cervical part? I have recently send my mri, x-rays to a new sport medicine and rebilitation doctor? He says that the point is that the disc is narrower and is pressuring the back nerve channel... But i still don't understand in witch particular cervical place is the nerve pressured? I have many places where the discs is slightly narrowed and also a lot of vertebrae are rotated ( don't really now if that can impact pressure on the nerve )? So what i have to change all the discs?....Is there some kinda medical analysis witch can indicate the place where the nerve is pressured? Also i have some doubts about TMJ (Temporomandibular joint disorder)? How can i make an analysis on that? Going to that doctor next week for the first time. He is also suggesting me to consult a neurosurgeon, but all the neurologist witch i have been to suggest that i shouldn't go to a neurosugeon, because they think that my problems are too little? But if my problems are too litlle why in the ***l i have 24h pain, terrible hand melting at night, occipital pain and etc...Guys, if you have some suggestions for me, please don't hesitate and send them to me, i'm sincerely waiting for them:) I want to solve this problem once and for all It's been seven years, so much time .......best wishes,Dalius
