I have been having these problems for the past couple of months. I don't have insurance but have been to the dr. a couple of times for chest x-rays and an EKG.
I started taking hypertension beta blocker medication a few days before these symptoms occurred. I have since stopped taking the medication under the advice of my dr but symptoms persist (they have lessened though)
Dull burning or chest pain throughout different areas of the chest. Sometimes it is the center of the chest, sometime right and sometimes left. Sometimes a feeling of breathlessness occurs. If I put on a jacket or wear a seatbelt while driving, the pressure causes pressure or pain to begin. When I remove the jacket or unfasten the seatbelt the pressure subsides. I don't know how this relates to the burning pain but they both started around the same time. My neck and jaw on the right side are always achy and stiff and sometimes my shoulders ache. I don't know whether this is all tied in together. None of these symptoms seem to make much sense to me but it is completely destroying my quality of life. I can barely work anymore because of the extreme discomfort and worry I feel each day from this and not knowing how serious it is.
