I am new to this forum, although I have been reading your posts for awhile.
I have suffered severe abdominal pain, D, nausea and generally feeling awful since I have been a child. Have been to gastro. drs. for years. They tell me they can find nothing wrong with me. I've had every test there is & they come up negative. They did find that my stomach was located high up in my chest & had surgery to repair it in 2001. Problems did not go away. Then in 2003 I swallowed the capsule camera pill & they found I had 2 duodenal tumors, had them removed. Still no better. I keep telling drs. that this problem is hereditary, my grandmother, mother & both of my children have same type of problem. In fact, a burst intestines killed my grandmother. There are months when I feel ok. Then out the blue it recurs, such as now. Pain is right sided, into my back & down my legs. I can be in bathroom up to 8 -10 times a day. it doesn't mattter what I eat. I weigh all of 85 lbs. and am 4' 11" tall, also I am 65 years old. Basically, for my age I am pretty healthy. I only take high blood pressure meds--something new for me. They found out that my daughter had thyroid cancer, when I was checked, they found nodules, so I take 1/2 of .75mcg. levoxyl a day. The latest tratement my gastro dr. has tried are antibiotics, even tho I have told him that antibiotics make me sicker. So, I stopped taking it. One dr. went as far as to tell me that "it's all in my head" He should have such pain, mabye then he would understand. Can anyone please help me? I would be so grateful.
