Hi my name is nancy and I would like to know if anyone out there can give me a clue to what i am experiencing. At the end of April one sunday I started being sick in the middle of the night, all night, thought nothing of it so I just got up and went to work .I felt ill all day but didnt want to go home so I stayed till eight when i got home i went straight to bed without hardly drinking anything all day .When I got up the next morning I was woken to a bad painfull headache and my face was all swollen.to cut the story short I was rushed to hospital with suspected menigitis ,had all tests CT ,Lumbar Punture,X Ray-,blood tests u name it and was put on a stroke ward as the doctors were unsure what it was.
I was discharged and told it was Menginism and given Painrelief(although that means neck stiffness in menigitis?)and I was told it wasnt Menigitis? After 24 hours I was back in hospital with a painfull headache and dehydration ,then I was admitted to a ward and I was seen by a ward doctor and had more tests. Also I was seen by a nuerologist who booked me in for a MRI after two weeks in hospital with constant headache I was discharged with painkillers and given information about ESS empty Sella Syndrome which I have read up and has completley confused me although I am going to university to study Nursing and I have lots of Medical books i am still baffled to my constant headaches tiredness and sickness ,I still dont know what properly happened and i am going to see the nuerologist in two weeks but I am worried about going uni in seven weeks I just want it diagnosed properly.
