hi there, i'm a 20 years old female and for about 6-7 months i've been getting strange twitches in my legs, not constant, usually in the evening or when i lie down for a long period of time. recently i started getting burning sensations in both my thighs, usually on the outside. i also get pains along the tops of my legs and lower abdomen. i've been suffering urine infections for the last year and have had all std tests cleared. any ideas of what this could be? my GP doesn't seem to do much except take tests for urine infections.

  • You may want to have your B12 checked. Burning, strange twitches and muscle pain are some of the symptoms. There is a thread "Vitamin B12 deficiency is commonly misdiagnosed" you may want to check out.

  • I noticed that it automatically placed a hyperlink to some info about B12 deficiency. That is not the thread that has the good info. If you go to google and type "active b12 basics" it will direct you to the list of symptoms and what you can do about it. Good luck.
