hey everyone...
I have suffered from bulemia for 5 years now. I am trying to stop on my own,
I dont want the family doctor to know. I started when I became a size 20, and my sons friends made fun of me.
It seems no matter how hard I try, If I feel full, I have to empty my stomach.
But lately when I do this I have anxiety attacks, plus I feel like I am choking.
Also, I feel like I cant breathe.
Has anyone out there had this affliction? And how did you overcome it?!
I have been pretty discrete about this, my family does not know I am dealing with the problem, and I would like to keep it this way.
Any advise would be appreciated!

  • I have battled with bulimia for 21 years. It is a very difficult mental illness to deal with on your own. I think it would be a really good idea for you to go to a counselor who deals specifically with eating disorders. I know it's scary, believe me! But this can seriously hurt your throat and your stomach to the point where there is no repair. I know what you are going through and it is depressing and tiring to live everyday completely focused on your weight and every piece of food you put in your mouth.
