My husband is 34 years and drove a tractor trailer for several years. He started having severe pain in his left calf muscle then it moved to the calf and thigh. So bad he couldn't drive anymore. Now he has severe fatigue, difficulty concentrating, muscle weakness, can't swallow very well and the pain is now in left arm and across chest also and sometimes on right side. He is a fireman and the heat makes him hurt worse. He has lost 25 pounds in 3 months and his muscles are smaller. He can't grip things well and trips alot. We have had an EMG done, MRI, blood work, thyroid tests and all have been normal. The neurologist seems to think we are crazy, but we have no health insurance and 3 kids so all these tests are coming out of our pocket. Please any answers or suggestions. He was a very active person and wonderful dad but now he can barely move, eat, work or play with the kids. We don't know what to do. Dr. said he could be depressed she prescribed Wellbutrin and baclofen. He's not depressed!! Please help:(Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
