Brain fog and feeling as if both sides of my body are unrelated.

This started a few years back - I felt as if I was in this brain fog - I thought it was stress at first - I'm a teacher so my life is stressful and the fog would lessen during the summer vaction. But for the past few summers it hasn't gone away like it usually does. I also feel as if my right and left sides of my body are totally different units. This sounds so strange I feel embarrassed writing about it, but I was wondering if anyone had any ideas? I've had a ct and mri and neurological testing (I also have muscles fibrilations and cramping), and blood tests. I know something is wrong, but no one can tell me. Ideas anyone???

  • Do they work against each other..for example, your right arm reaches to open the door and your left arm reaches to shut the door...and the one hand just does it by itself? If so I seen a show about that...I don't remember but if you go to TLC or Discovery Health websites they will be able to help you. I think the show was medical increadible.Best Wishes, Hope I could help!

  • hi my name is zack and i think that i am suffering from something very similar to your story. i know how it is.i am 21 and i have been living with it for 2 years. i have seeked help but i have got nothing but worthless percriptions(expensive too) that don't do anything but sell more pills for the hospital. i know what it is like every day to go through the world like your on auto pilot, just going through the motions in life. not being able to really experience and feel things like i use to. it is kind of like a fog like you said. i was wondering what are muslce fribilations. is that when your muscles kind of spaz out for a split second cuase that happens to me sometimes now. i was also wondeng how did it first come on. mine was very dramatic. if you could share with me your experience with this problem and any ideas. it would be nice to talk to someone who could understand and relate to what i am going through. i don't ever bring it up to anyone i know so this is a very lonely experince for me.and i try to hide it because i know that most people can not understand and i don't want anyone piety anyways.anyways i hope the best for you. i really do. maybe if we each put our good half together we can figure something out. you can contact me on this we site or at zacharylee@whccd.net. look forward to hearing from you.
