i slept on my right hand funny one day and i woke up and it felt like it was asleep. As of right now, 17 days later, my pinky and ring finger along with half of my hand is still numb. I also lost a lot of muscle strength in my left hand. The first day i could barely hold a piece of paper in my hand. The clentching motion of my fist is fine but the side to side motion of my fingers f***ed up. the first couple days i couldn't get my fingers to touch. The muscle strength is slowly coming back but still bad. I still can hardly straighten my pinky. I saw a doctor at day 7 and said as long as there is improvment it will go away but if it gets worse come back. even though it is slowly improving should i still go to the doctor?

Today, i woke up and my left hand has the same thing. the lose if muscle isnt as bad as the first time on my right hand but still isnt right. the numbness is all of the way up my forearm on the left side while my right hand is still only numb on my hand.

i have another doctor appointment Monday becasue the health center at Georgia Tech is closed on the weekend.

should i wait till monday or see a doctor now?
