I had a nosejob about ten years ago and the doctor removed too much cartilage from the left side. Now there is a hole in the cartilage and I keep getting nosebleeds. Yesterday the doctor placed a packing which is very uncomfortable and told me that I need to leave it in for a week. Pink mucus is seeping through and I think I'm swallowing blood. I spoke to the doctor and he said this is normal and If I am still bleeding when the packing is removed he will have to put in an even tighter and more uncomfortable packing. I don't see how these packings can help to close a hole in the cartilage. Am I putting myself through all this for nothing? Is surgury possible for this condition?Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
