Back in the middle of November, I started noticing this dull pain in the lower right part of my abdomen. I didn't worry about it too much at first because I've had abdominal pain before that ended up being nothing. Well the pain kept coming and going on and off accompanied by a burning pain so in December I had to go to the doctor for a yearly exam anyway and i questioned him about it. He did a pap (which was normal) and felt around on my abdomen did a lot of pressing and honestly nothing really hurt. He told me to take some asprin and see if that helped subide the pain. Well it's April and I'm still having the pain. There will be a few days that go by that I won't really notice the pain and then it will come on and hurt and burn. This morning I coughed and got a sharp pain in that spot which i have never had happen before. Most of the time when i have the pain it's dull and burning. Bowel movements are normal. No problem with urination. I don't feel any better standing, sitting or lying down. I also don't feel any different whether I eat healthy or unhealthy or after using the bathroom. I'm 35, about 50 pounds overweight (altho i have lost about 14 of those pounds in the last 8 months due to diet and exercise) and in relatively good health. Does this sound like anything familiar? It's driving me nuts!
