  • Probably just migraine headaches. I know migraines produce visual symptoms. I used to get them in my teens too, often the night before and the first days of my period. Symptoms included extreme pain when looking at a light or in a brightly lit room, vomitting sometimes, and the pain was usually frontal and concentrated behind my eyes. Some people have more distorted vision. I got on the pill, which prevents them, but not in everyone's case. Also Excedrin Migraine (or any medicine with acetompetaphen) helps, but you can't take it preventatively. Don't drink caffiene or get a lot of sun exposure when you have migraines, because that aggrivates them. Good luck, don't worry.

  • Hi embabe, From what you have said..their could be alot of reasons for your headaches. I will suggest that you keep a diary for the next 2 weeks of the following: 1) When you wake up in the morning..How do you feel? Are you fully rested or are you mostly tired..keep track of the time when you go to bed and what time you wake up in the morning. 2) When you wake up in the morning..Do you feel hungry? Do you feel nausea? If yes, does eating something make the nausea go away? Also, keep track of what you eat...certain foods can cause headaches...or lead to having a migraine headache. 3) 30 - 60 minutes after you eat..Do you have any stomach or intestinal complaints? Do you have any headaches? If yes, keep track of what foods you had just eaten. 4) Keep track of what you are doing (and what you have been snacking on) after breakfast until lunch. Do you read alot? If yes, what kind of lighting is their and how comfortable is the room that you are in? 5) Repeat the previous steps for lunch and supper. 6) Keep track of when you go to bed..what, if anything that you had to eat before going to bed. Also, keep track of your mental state before going to bed..by this I mean..Are you relaxed for 2-3 hours before going to bed? Are you worried about anything before going to bed? Is the room comfortable..is it too warm or too cold? 7) Keep track of anything and everything that goes on in your life over the next 2 weeks. At the end of the 2 weeks, start looking for when and where and what you were doing when you get these headaches..if you still can't find answers..show your diary to your doctor..It would be a good bet that he/she could find answers with what you have in the diary. I hope that this helps..like I said..headaches have many causes..so you need more information to work with in order to get the right answers. GOOD LUCK!...TAKE CARE...SKEETER....LET ME KNOW HOW IT WORKS OUT FOR YOU..OK:)

  • Many times it happens that headache comes because of weird sleeps, sometimes by improper diets. It can also be said that taking tensions is another cause of headache.
