Back in feb. when i went into labor with my son i had an epidural. I had one with my first son and everything went great,so i though nothing of it. As the doctor was giving me my epidural i had sever burning on my right side, i told him and he assured me it was normal..once the medicine was put in they laid me back. I started having real trouble breathing, but thought it was due to being on my back while being pregnant. Shortly after my ears started ringing.I told my nurse, by the time the doctor got to me i was blacking out, i could hear everyone talking and knew what i wanted to say but couldn't get my mouth to move. They checked my blood pressure and it had dropped in half..I honestly thought i was dying...After about and hour and a half of this everything eventually went back to normal....But when it came time to have my son i felt everything all the contractions and every bit of him come out..It was like i had never even been given the epidural:(.... Has anyone else had this happen,if so let me know... It was the scariest experience of my life..Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
