I have a baby brother who has many so far unexplained syptoms. He suffers from macrocephaly, fibroil seizures, tall stature, global and developmental delay, emotional delay, ect. He is three years old and still not talking. He did not learn to walk untill he was two years of age and has many problems as far as eating goes. Hes still only on stage 3 foods for infants due to his problems swollowing. He has extreamly low muscle tone in his entire body. And seems not to know how to understand others feelings. But is at the same time verry emotionaly sensitive. If he makes a loud noise he will begin to cry and throw himself on the floor. He also pulls his own hair intentionaly quite frequently. He has a verry high pain tolerance, and does not seem to be bothered by injuries that would bother most. The other day he knocked the gate at the top of our stairs out and fell half way down the stairs. He didnt seem to be bothered by the scrapes and bruises, but was angry and scared by everyone elses reaction. No doctors so far have been able to tell us whats wrong with him, but he seems to be stuck at the level of an 11 month old, at the age of 3. Has anyone else had a simalar problem with a loved one? Or have any suggestions as to what might be wrong with my brother?Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
