B12 Deficiency and No Shot B12???

anyone know if this is good or not?

  • It depends on why you have a b12 deficiency, and how low your levels are. Several studies have shown that an oral dose of 1000 mcg per day is just as effective as shots (which aren't fun I know from experience). However if you have damage to your terminal illieum (where your large and small intestines meet) then you'll need the shots. This type of damage is common with Crohns disease.It can't hurt to try the oral supplement, you'll know in a couple weeks if it's helping.
