I am a 45 y/o female who on a routine physical appt. got some abnormal lab results:
increase WBC 15.5
I was sent to a hematologist/oncologist who ordered many more tests,
most were negative (for infection, arthritis, lupus, hepatitis) but the 2 tests that came out positive were:
LAP score - 164
ESR - 68
I feel fine, but guess I am tired (I also work full time and have 3 kids), and have night sweats (had hysterectomy 4/06)
Had CT scan and Bone marrow Biopsy (awaiting results)
CT scan showed no enlargement of lymph nodes or spleen
CT showed - Enlarged thyroid
Now scheduled for ultrasound thyroid
Any ideas??
