atopic dermatitis or something else?

I would like to know if what I have is atopic dermatitis or something else. Every summer it is the same thing, itchy hands, blisters that eventually pop from scratching, peeling skin, painful inflammation and swelling. I have tried many different creams and none help with any of the symptoms. All of this is just on the palm of my hands, from my wrist to the tips of my fingers, never any where else. I do know that any cleaning product I use no matter what kind, makes it worse. I tried washing dishes the other day with a new type of soap that is non-caustic and environmentally safe and that changed nothing. Also another problem is that if the humidity is high my hands hurt something awful and I am running cold water over them to get them to quit hurting. Does anyone possibly know what this is? And, what can I do to treat it?

  • I get small little blisters on my hands. They start small then grow into big ones. They pop and my skin looks raw. It dries then peels away. I have gotten this since moved to Texas. Strange things have been happening to my skin since I moved here. No quack doctor around here knows what it is.
