Folks, its been approximately 2 months now that I've been coughing up phlegm; not large amounts, but sometimes its hard to get out and violent coughing is needed to get it out periodically. Actually, it feels to be worse in the evenings and after I lie down for bed for a while, I dont need to cough any longer and fall asleep....until morning when I wake up and the phlegm is quite thick and I will have a hard time coughing it out. I dont get awoken during the night to cough..(so far anyhow...).
I dont have a fevers or chills, Im not weak or fatigued. I can still exercise but have to halt for a short while until I stop coughing! The phlegm is clear and there is absolutely no pain.
I am rather confused with these symptoms and so far, nobody has really been able to help. It doesnt seem like these symptoms relate to any specific disease. I thought it could be asbestos related and I am currently going to through checks to determine this...
My question is...does anybody out there know anything about lung asbestos or has anybody had it? Does anybody have a clue as to what this could be?......oh I forgot to say...it seems like Robitussin chest congestion syrup works to curve the coughing....
