I am a 60 year old female, who 3 months ago, woke up with tingling in hand then up to shoulder and in to neck, then numbness in hand and into severe pain in arm, shoulder and down into brachial plexus area on right side, this severe pain has been going on for 3 months, i have been to numerous doctors, specialists, have had nerve conduction test, mri, xrays, been told have osteoarthritis and degenerative disks, acouple doctors said it has to be nerve damage, a couple said it is not, they don't know what it is, have been on most pain medicines, muscle relaxers, shots etc., no relief, only thing that helps a little in laying down with ice on shoulder area. gets worse as day goes on, i fell off a trampoline several years ago and landed on my right side upper back area, could this be part of problem on right side back area in shoulder blades, i have a very sore spot, that won't go away, the last specialist sent me to a chiropractor to see if that would help, it didn't, he said need an mri of whole back, in his opinion it is definitely nerve related, my doctor's refuse to send me for an mri of whole back. can you please help.Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
