My husband is a 27 year . . 6'3" of Asian Man with numerous pneumothorax. . . currently for the last two months, he has been having some issues and I was wondering if anyone had any ideas of what it could be. The doctors have no clue what is going on and they have put him through almost every test known to man . . here are is symptoms:
1) Feb. 2007, had complete left side weakness (physical therapy seemed to bring back most of the strength, although he is still having some issues.
DON'T KNOW IF THESE TWO ARE RELATED!
2) March 2007 (approx. 3 weeks later). has chest pain, collapsed in the doctor's office with shortness of breathe and numbness in the limbs when he really starts to have trouble breathing. The severity of shortness of breathe cannot be pinpointed to one thing.
**we have had blood tests
Right now, nothing has come up on any of these tests. He does have a verison of COPD, but it has to do with the pneumothorax and the doctor doesn't think this is causing his problems. We were thinking that it had to do with the weather and how it has been seasonably cold and sporatic . . but we are pulling at ideas.
Thanks for any help!
