Hello, I will try and keep this as simple as possible.

5 weeks ago I was admitted into hospital with severe abdominal pain, appendicitis was diagnosed and I had an op (not keyhole surgery)to remove my appendix within 5 hours of being admitted.

I was allowed home the next day. 4 days later I was readmitted again with severe abdominal pain and I was told I had an internal infection. During this stay I found out that even though my appendix was fine it was removed and the problem turned out to be a ruptured ovarian cyst.

Since then I have suffered horrendously. I have had a very swollen abdomen, to the point of looking 6 months pregnant. I have been very constipated. I am in constant abdominal and lower back pain and now just having a wee is pure agony, I have to rock back and forth just to allow the tiniest amount out. I am also suffering from constant sweating.

I have been back to the Doctor and he has prescribed me paracetamol, movilat and evening primrose oil. I have had a urine sample taken and all appears fine.

I truly am at the end of my tether, surely I still shouldnt be in so much pain and so swollen. I am terrified there is something very badly wrong and I am being fobbed off by my Doctor.

Incase it matters I would like to mention previous to this I have had 3 caesarian sections.

Any advice would be very much appreciated x
