I've had this condition on and off for about 30 years. Nobody can diagnose the problem. Occasionally one of my eyes will start itching and then swell up within a few minutes. There is no pain or redness present and the swelling is usually right below the eye. There is no discoloration. It will only happen on one eye and the next time it happens it will be the alternate eye. It never happened twice in a row to the same eye. There can be anywhere from a couple of days to several month of time in between the swelling. Also, sometimes the swelling is so severe that it looks like somebody punched me and other times it is minor. I've never had allergies and I am an overall extremely healthy person. I run and lift weights on a regular basis. I've tried to watch what I am doing and eating prior to the swelling. It could have something to do with my sodium and/or potassium intake. :confused:Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
