Acute gastric problem

I recently was admitted to hospital with acute gastritis which led to vomiting blood. I was in agony and since leaving hospital have eaten very little, I have been give pain relief and Lanzoprazole.

What can I eat for the next few days just until my condition eases. Websites I've looked at seem to contradict each other. Is all acidic food wrong ? I can't even eat solids at present. Is milk okay ?

I though eggs and fish cooked simply (blandly) would be okay, I'm hungry be haven't had a solid meal for 5 days.
