Acute Diabetic Polyneuropathy Caused By Trauma

I have acute diabetic polyneuropathy that was caused by trauma. My doctor thought it was a neuropraxia at first, now it has turned into a HUGE problem.Will it go away? Whats the best treatment? I'm afraid that my legs will fall off.....:(
