Ever since I was a teenager I noticed a pain/ache in both hands with over use, primarily in bowling when grasping the ball with those three little holes. It's been pretty tame so far now that Im in my mid 30s, but I think I overdid it while working on a rental property about a week ago. The pain/ache has gotten significantly better over this past week and getting back to barely noticeable except while using them but now there is a general ache/joint type pain that makes me want to take it easy, kindof a tenderness I suppose. I've looked at arthiritis, capaltunnel and really don't think it's those things. My best guess is that something like tendons got strained, particularly by putting a bathroom sink in and really going "all out" to turn the pipe. I've noticed that using a hammer for an extended period of time causes quite a bit of discomfort, particularly while trying to sleep.Anyway, I fully expect my hands to be back to normal after several weeks or even months, I say months because I've had what I believe to be a rotor cuff injury that would lock up in my right shoulder that finally totally fixed itself after like 6 months, I just think if this is a muscle tendon thing it might take a while for the muscle to heal. Anything you might be able to tell me that could clue me in on whats going on with my hands or how long you'd expect me to take to recover would be appreciated.Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
