It all makes since now, all of my symptoms rolled into different categories. I have IBS, An Ulcer, Acid Reflux, Hiatal Hernia. Most of them roll into one name (GERD) or (GI) or even (IBS) As you will see all the Diagnosis's have most of the same symptoms. I will list the symptoms of each below :
IBS- Irritable Bowel Syndrome
These are the main symptoms of IBS
Some people have constipation
Some people with IBS experience diarrhea
Frequent, loose, watery, stools.
Loss of appetite
ULCER (aka) Peptic esophagitis, Reflux esophagitis, (Gerd), Heartburn - chronic
Regurgitation of food
Nausea and vomiting
Hoarseness or change in voice
Difficulty Swallowing (aka) dysphagia
Cough or wheezing
or other asthma-like symptoms
A burning feeling in the throat
Sour or bitter taste in the mouth
Involves a burning pain in the chest (under the breastbone)
Increased by bending, stooping, lying down, or eating
Relieved by antacids
More frequent or worse at night
ACID REFLUX (aka) GERD
Heartburn is the primary symptom of GERD
It is a burning sensation that radiates up from the stomach to the chest and throatAfter a heavy meal.
Lying down, particularly on the back. Pain and discomfort in the upper abdomen.
Fullness in the stomach.
Nausea after eating.
HIATAL HERNIA (aka) GERD
The Symptoms of a Paraesophageal Hiatal Hernia:
Sudden severe chest pain
Radiating chest pain that isn't relieved by taking an antacid
Chest Pain or pressure
