My daughter will be 5 next week. She has been vomiting just about every night & day since birth... more severe at night & consistant stomach pain. The 1st yr she was born, she was in the hosp every week for this & vomiting atleast 10xs a day. She was diagnosed with GERD at that time. She was put on meds, which seemed to work....the vomiting slowed to 2-5 times a day. Over the years, the vomiting has calmed down. But she still vomits atleast 3+ times a wk. She is always complaining about her stomach hurting. She has had so many tests done, & all neg. Along the way, she has had other problems (to name a few)... 1 yrs old-- RSV & cocksackie virus.... 1yr - 3yrs-- several ear infections (resolved w/tubes in both ears).... several chest infections & upper resp infections.. last yr-- urinary reflux... right now, she has scarlet fever & last wk she vomited blood 2xs. The 1st set of blood work showed low white cells... 2 days later, they were back to normal (just on the low side).

She runs a fever from 101- 104 every so often... she gets hives that come & go... shes slightly anemic... vomiting almost every day again & always in pain.

Any ideas what this could be? Shes been in pain every day & night. Since birth.... shes prob slept thru the night not more than 20 times (in almost 5yrs), because of the pain.

She goes back to her specalist next month to discuss what to do next (he cant do nothing till her body gets thru the scarlet fever). We will also be taking her to the Childrens Hosp in Penn this summer, if we cant figure it out by then.
