I am a 37 year old woman who has undergone several surgeries on each knee for tendon/ligament repairs from injuries I suffered as a 12 year old gymnast. I had my last surgery (both knees same time) on Aug. 2/06 and have been back to see the surgeon twice since then. Tomorrow I'm going for a bone density test on my right leg because this last surgery has been unsuccessful in relieving the constant pain I'm experiencing everyday. He mentioned a disease a may have in my bones but because his bedside manner is not the greatest, I'm really not sure what kind of disease it could be. He is a talker not a listener and rushes me through before I can ask him to explain things to me in layman's terms. If there is anyone out there who may be experiencing the same or who may know what disease it could be, I'd love to hear from them. Here's a clue, I already have osteoarthritis in both knees, that has been previously diagnosed. The disease he mentioned was, approximately, 3 very long words I couldn't comprehend. Please help! :mad:Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
